Upgrading Oracle VM Server for x86

There are multiple ways to upgrade Oracle VM Server for x86. When upgrading Oracle VM Server using Oracle VM Manager, make sure you do not not use the Oracle VM Server 3.3 Transitional Update Repository to upgrade between Oracle VM Server Release 3.3 errata releases.

When Oracle VM Manager is upgraded, you must upgrade all the Oracle VM Servers managed by that instance of Oracle VM Manager before you can return the Oracle VM environment to normal operation. For example, Oracle VM Manager and all Oracle VM Servers should be running Oracle VM Release 3.3.

Refer to the Oracle VM Installation and Upgrade Guide for details.
