Indexing and Search Service IMQ Broker Log Messages

This document provides a list of sample IMQ Brokerr log messages in alphabetical order and a description of what each log message means.

WARNING level

WARNING [B3004]: No threads are available to process a new connection on service jms. 1000 threads out of a maximum of 1000 threads are already in use by other connections. A minimum of 2 threads must be available to process the connection. Please either limit the # of connections or increase the imq.<service>.max_threads property. Closing the new connection.

This indicates the imq.jms.max_threads property needs to increased, default is 1000, and it needs to accommodate 2 * number of connections to the ISS IMQ broker. The default location of the configuration file on Solaris is /var/imq/instances/imqbroker/props/config.properties and on RedHat Linux, the default location is /var/opt/sun/mq/instances/imqbroker/props/config.properties.
